Abstract
As the core carrier of culture, language directly reflects the cultural characteristics and structures of its country. Given the geographical proximity of Korea and China and their shared Confucian cultural traditions, the languages of these two nations exhibit significant connections and comparable features. This paper delves into the similarities and unique aspects of honorifics in Chinese and Korean. By exploring the origins of honorifics in both languages, it conducts an in-depth comparative analysis to reveal their unique value in the transmission of linguistic civilization.
