Abstract
In this era of rapid development of information, science and technology have become tools to assist human development. But the convenience these tools provide is a double-edged sword. Nowadays, more and more teenagers are addicted to social media and rely on the Internet. At the same time, the Internet has a huge potential impact on teenagers’ physical and mental health. Through the search and reference of relevant literature, this paper analyzes the negative effects of teenagers’ use of the Internet. Taking Twitter, an Internet platform, as an example, this paper proposes reforms from the social media itself to control audience groups at different levels, identify user groups, and strengthen the approval system so as to reduce the negative impact on teenagers’ physical and mental health.
