Public demonstrations have emerged as an essential strategy for addressing environmental injustice and promoting systemic change. Other potential approaches such as legal actions face resistance due to resource limitations and urgent need for solutions in underprivileged regions. Through case studies, this research underscores the unique strength of public demonstration to mobilize comparatively immediate actions and exert political pressure. The substantial social influence made is crucial in driving reforms, given that environmental injustice issues typically pose continuous and serious health impacts on residents. The research points out that though community solidarity and governmental repression are two potential risks, public demonstration's effectiveness and accessibility still make it an optimal strategy. In addition, adopting micro protests across diverse locations is recommended to enhance the visibility of demonstrations further while reducing risks of injuries to participants. The study offers perspectives and operations for activists and community leaders on creating more resilient movements for equitable environmental governance.

This paper, rooted in Zygmunt Bauman’s theory of modernity, examines the formation of virtual communities and the characteristics of liquid modernity as manifested in the widespread phenomenon of Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) on social media. As a psychological assessment tool, MBTI has pervaded social media platforms, engendering virtual communities characterized by high fluidity and consumerist tendencies. Through participatory observation and online ethnography, this study delves into the MBTI virtual communities on the "Xiaohongshu" platform, exploring their consumerism-driven formation mechanisms and cultural attributes. In modern society, virtual communities exhibit dynamic stability and structural elasticity, with identity constantly being reshaped and redefined within these virtual spaces. The popularity of MBTI underscores the anxieties surrounding identity in contemporary society and reflects the liquid nature of modern identity formation. Under the influence of technology and consumerism, virtual communities have emerged as a significant social form in modern society.

With the transformation of the media environment, the star system is also evolving, and virtual celebrities are increasingly visible in the public eye, playing dual roles. The relationship between virtual celebrities and new media is mutually beneficial: new media provides stable channels for promoting virtual celebrities, while the cultural and economic benefits brought by virtual celebrities inspire research into the creation and use of new media. The virtual celebrities in the film White Snake: Afloat offer a typical case for studying the symbolic meaning and cultural consumption of virtual celebrities. By analyzing the role of virtual celebrities in White Snake: Afloat, we can understand the relationship between the star system and media development, how virtual celebrities expand the “fan economy” in the market, promote the “long tail effect” in the film industry, and the reasons behind virtual celebrities as a symbol of mass aesthetics, thereby advancing the inheritance and development of traditional culture.

The Jinteng (金縢) is a famous chapter in the Shangshu. In addition to the Shangshu, the bamboo slips in the collection of Qinghua University also contain a text about Zhou Wu Wang You Ji Sou Zi Yi Dai Xian Wang Zhi Zhi, and the overall plot is similar to the Shangshu Jinteng. This paper pays particular attention to the depictions of rituals in the two versions of the Jinteng of the pre-imperial period. With the help of the principle of sympathetic magic proposed by Frazer, it is concluded from the analysis of the ritual depictions and specific texts in the Jinteng that the identity of Zhou Gong may be constructed as an obscure “King”. However clarifying the changes in the construction of the identity of the Duke of Zhou, it is also possible to understand and expand the ideologies of different political systems behind the texts.

Non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI) often occurs in adolescence and early adulthood, accompanied by an increase in the incidence and development of related diseases, making it a significant risk factor for suicide. NSSI behavior among adolescents has become a serious public health issue, threatening their physical and mental development. This article explores the identification methods, biological causes, and emotional causes of NSSI behavior and provides current applicable treatment interventions. By elaborating on the harm of NSSI behavior to adolescents, identification methods, and intervention strategies are proposed to provide a theoretical basis for monitoring and protecting adolescent health in order to improve NSSI behavior among adolescents.

This paper examines the impact of the film Inside Out on enhancing emotional self-awareness among children and adolescents. The research background highlights the current challenges young people face in recognizing and managing their emotions, exacerbated by social media and modern life pressures. The paper identifies a specific problem: the difficulty children and adolescents encounter in understanding their emotions amidst high stress and unrealistic online comparisons. Inside Out is proposed as a solution, offering a clear framework by personifying emotions-Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust-as characters to simplify complex emotional processes. The research findings demonstrate that Inside Out significantly aids in emotional self-awareness by illustrating the value of all emotions and their roles in personal development. Key scenes in the film, such as the conflict between Joy and Sadness and the depiction of core memories shaping personality traits, provide concrete examples of how emotions influence behavior and decision-making. These visual representations help children understand that experiencing a range of emotions is natural and necessary for emotional balance. The paper concludes that Inside Out effectively reduces emotional confusion and enhances self-awareness by portraying emotions as integral and purposeful components of mental processes. This research is significant as it underscores the educational value of media in emotional learning and suggests that Inside Out serves as a powerful tool for improving emotional cognition and mental health among young audiences.

This study delves into the complex relationship between stress and eating behavior, with a particular focus on how stress affects food addiction. The study explores the role of stress perception, chronic stress, and social stress, highlighting their important impact on eating habits, especially on vulnerable groups such as women. The main findings suggest that stressed people tend to exhibit increased food intake, decreased emotional eating, and decreased intuitive eating, all of which increase the risk of obesity and related health problems. In addition, previous study also showed that chronic stress is a major factor associated with food addiction, with excessive workload, social stress, and long-term anxiety being important predictors. Recent research highlights the importance of stress management strategies, including cognitive behavioral therapies that target distorted beliefs. However, Previous studies also have... limitations, including a small sample size and heavy reliance on self-reported data, which may affect the generalizability and external validity of the findings. It is suggested that future studies address these limitations by expanding sample sizes, employing more objective and diverse measurement tools, and exploring the effectiveness of corresponding interventions in different populations. This review could help develop more effective treatment and prevention strategies for stress-related eating disorders.
