Abstract
This paper introduces the electromagnetic design process for high-temperature superconducting (HTS) magnets used in electrodynamic suspension (EDS) systems. First, the winding process and detailed parameters of the magnets are described. Then, based on the full-field angle characteristic method, the critical current of the magnets is evaluated and the operating current is determined. Finally, the magnetic field distribution and charging delay of the magnets are assessed based on the design results. This paper provides a reference for the electromagnetic design of superconducting electromagnetic suspension magnets.
