As life expectancy continues to increase, aging populations face rising challenges related to chronic diseases. While biological aging is often blamed for these conditions, environmental factors and unhealthy behaviors significantly contribute to their prevalence. The paper, through the method of literature review, explored the causes of chronic disease in the aging population with some useful solutions. This includes the harmful chemicals released by tobacco, possible causes of cardiovascular disease, and unhealthy dietary behaviors that make adults face diabetes issues. The paper also includes the counterargument for the potential issues that might appear in the solution, with evidence to battle against the issues. The paper finds that many government policies have not yet addressed the needs of older adults and focuses on the need for government action. In addition, the paper includes many possible policies that might be helpful in addressing the issues
This literature review explores the same old inequalities women experience in educational equity, now for gains and wins in their abilities to attend school at a pace equal to men. Although much progress has been made internationally to increase female enrollment, gender norms, socio-economic barriers, and underrepresentation of women in STEM fields impede women's access to education and careers. It synthesizes findings from various contexts, including global reports and case studies, to comprehensively overview these disparities. It complicates further educational inequities from an intersectionality perspective between gender, race, and class. The finding underlines the importance of targeting policies to alleviate these disparities and seeks to reform educational content and systemic approaches to gender equity in academia. This study aims to advance efforts that increase women's educational equity and career prospects by exploring current challenges and potential solutions.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) refers to the process by which individuals develop self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, interpersonal skills and responsible decision-making abilities at the cognitive, emotional and behavioral levels. As China's high school education matures, SEL has emerged as a significant topic within the educational landscape, driven by the diversification of educational goals and an increased focus on students' mental health. This paper aims to systematically examine SEL theory in the context of the high school educational system, analyze the challenges it may face in contemporary implementation, and propose targeted solutions to provide theoretical support and solutions for the further promotion and practice of SEL teaching in Chinese high schools. The findings reveal that the practicality of SEL has been widely recognized, part reason of this circumstance is because according to relevant studies, SEL can not only improve academic performance, but also significantly improve their mental health and social adaptability.
With the rapid expansion of social media platforms, online gender discourse has become increasingly prominent in shaping contemporary gender relations, particularly in the Chinese digital context, where unique political and commercial constraints create distinctive patterns of feminist expression. This paper, through a method of literature review and case study analysis, explores how social psychological mechanisms interact with technological infrastructures to shape gender discourse production and circulation on Chinese social media platforms. The study examines two cases in particular: the Gender Watch Women's Voice experience, which serves to demonstrate counter-discourse resistance strategies, and the Mimeng phenomenon, which serves to illustrate neoliberal feminist commercialization. The conclusion of the paper suggests that digital gender discourse functions through "algorithmic-psychological feedback loops," where platform architectures amplify social psychological processes, including group polarization, social identity formation, and collective efficacy building. The research indicates that identical technological features can result in divergent outcomes across different political and commercial contexts. Paradoxically, platform censorship has been observed to strengthen feminist counter-discourses, while commercial platforms co-opt feminist language to reinforce patriarchal structures.
As China's international status and influence continue to grow, Hollywood movies have also made corresponding changes in the way they spread Chinese cultural symbols. This article uses cross-cultural communication theory, specifically semiotic analysis and case study methods, to study the advantages, disadvantages, and methods of Hollywood movies in spreading Chinese culture. By studying China's cases in cultural communication, we finally summarize and come up with some better solutions that will help Hollywood movies spread Chinese culture. The study found that Hollywood movies show complex characteristics when using Chinese cultural symbols. Hollywood uses highly visual material and spiritual cultural symbols to create an easily recognizable "Oriental wonder". However, this choice of symbols is often limited by a Western perspective, which can easily lead to cultural misunderstandings or reinforce stereotypes. In addition, some works have stripped away their cultural core in order to cater to commercial interests, thereby weakening the accuracy of cultural communication.
Contemporary Chinese soccer is in a contradictory stage of low competitive performance and high social enthusiasm. Despite the poor international performance of the national soccer team, policy-driven and grassroots tournaments have provided new opportunities for soccer IP construction. Soccer club IP has also gradually become an important carrier for the enhancement of urban soft power, with the values of economic radiation, cultural identity and international dissemination. This paper focuses on the impact of soccer club IP on urban soft power and its construction path, adopting the case study method and literature research method, selecting typical cases such as Guizhou "Cun Chao", Zhejiang Greentown, Chongqing Tongliang Dragon Club, etc., and combining the theoretical literature of communication science and local practice to reveal the multiple paths and effectiveness of IP construction. Their success depends on policy support, technical empowerment and youth training. In the future, we should focus on the differentiated paths for small and medium-sized cities and the reverse cultural export in the context of globalization. The study provides city policy makers with theoretical support and practical reference for the development of modern soccer industry.
With the rapid development of digital technology, the digital immersion exhibition of traditional opera, as a new form of exhibition that integrates traditional opera with modern technology, uses VR, AR, holographic projection and other technologies to construct immersive scenes, breaking the limitations of traditional opera time and space, and opening up new paths for cultural inheritance. Research has found that there are problems with the current digital immersion exhibition of traditional Chinese opera in terms of technology, cultural dissemination, and setting. This study focuses on the theoretical logic and practical challenges of digital immersion exhibitions in traditional Chinese opera in terms of technological application, cultural dissemination, and scene construction, using the framework of media context and immersive communication theory. The research adopts a literature analysis method to sort out theoretical achievements, analyze relevant materials and literature. The results indicate that there are problems with the current digital immersion exhibition of traditional Chinese opera, such as insufficient technological adaptability, superficial cultural dissemination, and lack of coherence in scene ecology. From this, it can be concluded that it is necessary to establish a "technology art" collaborative mechanism, innovate cultural narrative strategies, improve scene interaction ecology, and explore practical directions such as intelligent navigation and metaverse communities to promote their transformation towards "cultural empowerment" and achieve sustainable development.
With the rapid development of digital media, live streaming sales, as an emerging consumption and communication model, not only reshape consumer behavior and business structure, but also subtly promote the redistribution of gender roles. Especially in China, the high participation of women in live streaming sales is not only reflected in their role as anchors, but also in the composition of the main consumer group. From a sociological perspective, this article focuses on the study of consumer behavior motivation and explores the gender, culture, and social significance behind it. Through the analysis of the performance of female anchors in live streaming platforms, the classification of consumer motivations, and their social interaction patterns, this article finds that media platforms not only enhance the social visibility of women but also contribute to their economic and cultural empowerment. This bottom-up social practice has gradually changed the passive role of women being "watched" in public spaces, turning them into active subjects with expression and influence. The article concludes that although live streaming sales have promoted the process of gender equality, it still requires joint efforts from platforms, policies, and society to truly achieve structural support and long-term empowerment.
