This study focuses on the era where social media deeply permeates the daily lives of teenagers, taking the rise of the “Group Live Streaming” on the Douyin platform—a new form of collaborative live streaming with multiple hosts—as the research subject. The study primarily examines its impact on teenagers who are at a critical period of forming their values. It focuses on the specific effects of Group Live Streaming on various value dimensions, including self-awareness, interpersonal concepts, and social judgment, using methods such as literature review, content analysis, and case study to systematically analyze its influence mechanism. The research finds that although Group Live Streaming, to some extent, provides teenagers with a sense of community belonging and alleviates their feelings of loneliness through multi-person interaction and emotional connection, its negative impacts are more significant and widespread. These impacts mainly manifest in promoting materialism and irrational consumption views, advocating “quick success” and “shortcut” thinking, leading to the simplification of aesthetics and the objectification of interpersonal relationships. The conclusion of the study suggests that Group Live Streaming essentially carries the core of consumerism and utilitarianism, with prominent potential risks. A collaborative governance system combining platform regulation, legal frameworks, school education, family guidance, and individual literacy enhancement should be established to guide its development in a direction that benefits the healthy growth of teenagers.

With the iterative development of new media technology, the forms and means of information dissemination are constantly being enriched, bringing about the recovery of the "ear economy". At the same time, with the development of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and AIGC, the digital content industry is also undergoing profound changes. This article aims to take the "XiaoYuZhou" app as a typical case analysis and discuss the development status and trend of auditory software in the new media era. Analyze the restructuring effects of AIGC on podcast software in four dimensions: content production, distribution mechanism, user experience and business model. Combined with relevant theories and cases, this paper discusses the development trend of auditory software in the environment of new media and artificial intelligence, and puts forward suggestions and prospects for future development.

With the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence technology, generative AI-driven virtual anchors are increasingly entering the field of news communication. This study examines virtual anchors from mainstream media outlets, including Xinhua News Agency's digital reporter "Xin Xiao Hao" and CCTV's AI anchor "Xiao C." Through the collection of 260 survey questionnaires and the application of content analysis, it systematically explores the current status of virtual anchors in news reporting, audience acceptance levels, and their impact on the news communication ecosystem. Findings reveal that virtual anchors enjoy significantly higher acceptance in lifestyle service and entertainment news compared to political and breaking news. Audiences generally maintain reservations about their judgment and interpretation capabilities, with notable differences across generational groups. The study further reveals that virtual anchors with content generation and narrative capabilities are no longer merely passive information conduits but increasingly demonstrate agency in news production. However, when generative AI autonomously constructs news narratives, audience trust mechanisms exhibit dialectical characteristics of "concurrent certainty and skepticism."

As 'Strong Female Lead’ (SFL) narratives gain mainstream popularity, related discussions have become a significant arena for gender studies. However, the underlying power dynamics shaping these conversations remain underexplored. Employing Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA), this study investigates the nature of the discourse surrounding SFL dramas on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, and systematically analyzes 100 popular posts related to 'SFL dramas’ on it. The findings reveal that this discursive field is not a bottom-up, grassroots feminist practice but is predominantly led by commercialized key opinion leaders. A tripartite collusion of algorithms, capital, and fan culture politics profoundly shapes the construction of this discourse. The ultimate effect of this collusion is the 're-disciplining’ and commodification of the potentially subversive issue of women’s empowerment into a controllable and marketable product. This study highlights the critical role of platform technology in shaping contemporary gender discourse and offers a critical reflection on the commodification of feminist narratives in the social media era.

This article explores the impact of social media on juvenile delinquency and countermeasures to strengthen the online protection of teenagers from multiple perspectives. Teenagers are easily influenced by their peers and online trends. On social media, unrestricted comments, the pursuit of likes and followers, and exposure to cyberbullying can lead them to imitate harmful behaviors or make poor choices, which may distort their values, also led them to commit criminal acts. This study, grounded in social learning theory, general strain theory, and the de-individuation effect, examines how adolescents are influenced to imitate hazardous challenges, manage stress through deviant behaviors, and participate in cyberbullying under diminished personal accountability. Empirical evidence, including the “coma challenge” tragedy, social media–induced violent incidents, and cases of cyberbullying, highlights the profound psychological and legal ramifications of such behaviors. To avoid these risks preventive measures can be taken at the family, school, technology platform, legal, and social levels to create a positive online environment for teenagers.

This paper explores the themes of danger in relation to fascism within Walter Benjamin’s essay “On the Concept of History,” particularly on Thesis VI. It interprets and analyzes how Benjamin’s work addresses fascism and its potential manifestations, drawing parallels with other theses and recent developments in fascism. The essay argues that while Benjamin’s thesis effectively serves as both an understanding of and a revolutionary methodology against fascism, which may inadvertently fall prey to new fascist tendencies in the 21st-century digital and “postmodern” context. Also, the essay examines Benjamin’s antifascist stance, his critique of historicism, and the potential for (mis)interpretation of his work in a fascist context, particularly focusing on the role of the historical materialist, the concepts of “danger” and “catastrophe,” the pessimism that fascism has already won, the struggle “against the grain,” and Benjamin’s intent against the theses’ publication. Finally, it concludes that the publication of Benjamin’s theses might have inadvertently contributed to reactionary tendencies, highlighting the complex relationship between his work and fascism.

In the context of globalization, population mobility is becoming increasingly frequent, which has aroused widespread concern about the impact of immigrants on urban society, especially its potential relationship with crime rates. This study aims to explore the relationship between immigrants and urban crime rates. The impact of immigrants on urban crime rates is highly dependent on the socioeconomic background of the immigrant group, the legal and political situation of their home country, and the city’s own immigration management and social integration policies. The results of the study show that the relationship between immigrants and urban crime rates is not proportional. In other words, there is no significant statistical relationship between immigrants and urban crime rates, and in one case there is even a negative correlation. This conclusion stems from the strong desire of immigrants to integrate into society and the developed and stable economy of the city. To explore the relationship between immigration and crime rates, it is necessary to include variables of multiple dimensions.

This study examines the pigment application and color-matching principles of Tang Dynasty murals in the Mogao Caves of Dunhuang, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its vibrant artistic heritage. Building on the historical and cultural significance of these murals, the research integrates color wheel theory, particularly Itten’s model, to systematically analyze the use of complementary, contrasting, and analogous colors. The methodology combines qualitative analysis of pigment types, origins, and processing techniques—such as the preparation of azurite, malachite, cinnabar, and ochre—with comparative studies of Renaissance frescoes in terms of artistic concepts, color strategies, and cultural contexts. Findings reveal that Tang artists skillfully balanced symbolic and decorative functions of color, using mineral-based pigments for lasting brilliance and visual impact. Comparative results highlight distinct cultural approaches: symbolic religious color use in Tang murals versus naturalistic representation in Renaissance art. The study concludes that integrating scientific color analysis with cross-cultural perspectives not only deepens understanding of historical art forms but also offers valuable insights for the preservation, innovation, and contemporary application of traditional color aesthetics.

The micro-drama entertainment industry, often referred to as micro-dramas or duanju, has emerged as a major force in the global digital media ecosystem, driven by mobile-first consumption and algorithm-driven platforms. Originating in China, the format now attracts billions of viewers and is rapidly expanding internationally. This paper adopts a literature review approach, synthesizing recent academic research, industry reports, and case studies to explore the evolution, production practices, technological integration, and economic significance of micro-dramas. The study examines key aspects, including market growth trends, narrative structures, labor-related implications, and the role of artificial intelligence in streamlining content creation and personalisation. The paper concludes that micro-dramas represent more than a temporary trend; signaling a structural shift in digital entertainment. The findings suggest that while the format offers immense commercial potential and opportunities for creative innovation, it also faces challenges such as content homogenization, intellectual property disputes, and labor-related concerns. The review further highlights that technological advancements, particularly in AI-driven workflows and interactive storytelling, will play a critical role in shaping the industry’s future trajectory.

African youths utilize Hip-Hop culture to express their resentment and rebellion against mainstream culture and external oppression, reflecting the instinct of underprivileged people to pursue their rights and freedom. However, during the process of resistance and self-expression, they often neglect to respect other, more vulnerable groups, such as women, ultimately leading to oppression and rebellion within Hip-Hop community. When people rebel against certain authorities, they may unconsciously create new forms of inequality and violence. This paper explains how men in Hip-Hop rap objectify women, and how female rappers, having been influenced by feminism, use music to fight back. The research is conducted by collecting references about Hip-Hop music, analyzing the differences between a large number of male and female Hip-Hop songs in terms of lyric content, music videos, and target audiences, and investigating the improvements in female rappers’ status in the Hip-Hop world. According to the study, in Hip-Hop music, men objectify and degrade women through lyrics containing sexist and misogynistic language, the objectification of women’s bodies in music videos (MVs), and disrespectful attitudes toward women. To fight back against the situation, women draw on Black feminism and express dissatisfaction through music.
