As a foundational work of Chinese character graphology and ancient Chinese lexicology, Shuowen Jiezi records a large number of ancient Chinese character pattern and their interpretations and provides valuable documents for the study of ancient Chinese numismatic culture. This paper focuses on the part of the character “bei” (shell) in Shuowen Jiezi and reveals the status and evolution of the “bei character and its related character families in the ancient monetary system through detailed glyph research and semantic analysis. In this paper, the evolution of the character “bei” from a medium of shell exchange to a symbol of wealth and monetary value is carried out, and the practical application and value standard of the character “bei” in ancient economic activities are reconstructed, and the role of the character “bei” in the naming and use of ancient coins is accurately defined. The research results not only provide a new perspective and theoretical basis for the study of paleography and monetary history, but also have important significance for understanding the symbolic carrier function of Chinese characters in commercial culture, as well as the economic structure and currency circulation mechanism of ancient society.

This paper presents a summary of the linguistic and literal characteristics of Chinese Internet language: image-enabled, video-enabled, facilitated, de-territorialized, trying to sort out the causes of the new phenomenon of Internet language and the different views of Internet language from the perspective of different user groups. The study also identifies the new media platforms that employ online language to introduce novel nuances to the Chinese language script, characterized by concision, ingenuity and temporal brevity. The study also provides solutions to dissipate the negative impact of Internet language on Chinese language and script and explores how to make use of new media Internet language to better develop Chinese language and script in the present day, such as standardizing the use of Chinese characters, making proper use of new media platforms, and enhancing people’s awareness of discrimination.
This paper explores filial piety and soul beliefs in contemporary rural funeral rituals, specifically focusing on the "Lingyang" ceremony in the Gansu region. Here, "Ling" means "to receive and connect," and "Yang" refers to "sheep." This ceremony holds unique and significant cultural symbolism in local funeral customs. Since ancient times, sheep have played an important role in Chinese traditional culture and ritual practices, symbolizing gratitude, loyalty, and virtue. In ancient times, being one of the three most important sacrificial animals, sheep were not only key offerings in rituals dedicated to heaven, ancestors, and deities but also embodied the relationship between humans and the divine. The "Lingyang" ceremony is a modern continuation of this cultural tradition within Gansu's funeral rituals. The ceremony is a core element of local funeral practices, where family members interpret the sheep’s reactions to determine whether the deceased’s soul is at peace or has unfulfilled wishes. The sheep’s reactions are seen as a means of communication with the deceased’s spirit and serve as a symbolic evaluation of the family members’ filial behavior. This ceremony reinforces the ethical order within the family and reflects local beliefs in the immortality of the soul and the continuation of Confucian filial piety. Through an analysis of the origins, procedures, and cultural significance of the "Lingyang" ceremony, this paper highlights its crucial role in Gansu’s rural funeral traditions. The ceremony not only commemorates the deceased but also functions as a social mechanism to monitor the moral conduct of the living. This paper aims to reveal how the values of filial piety and soul beliefs are preserved and practiced through this unique funeral ritual.
Due to the fact that many people today, especially students, are paying more attention to the standard of education. Therefore, the impact on parental involvement on children’s academic performance is becoming more and more essential. Reviewing the research that has been done in the past years, authors find that the definition of parental involvement varies from macro to micro, and the relationship between the parental involvement and children’s academic performance is similar in different regions or countries. Moreover, whether parents are attending parent-teacher conferences and whether they assist or give a supported learning environment to their child can lead to children having a higher performance in education. Other factors like parents regularly communicating with teachers and understanding the challenges and strengths can create a positive environment for their child. However, over pressuring their child towards their education may lead to many negative impacts. As a result, by preventing negative impacts from happening, and analyzing these data, recommendations can be made like suggesting parents to be more involved in their children’s activities that are related to education and paying more attention to the feelings of their children whilst being with them.
This paper examines the multifaceted economic contributions of Buddhist temples in Singapore, focusing on their ability to generate tax revenue, attract tourists, and attract immigrants. Using sociological and statistical methods, including regression analysis, the study quantifies the direct economic impact of temples, such as their role in increasing tax revenue, boosting tourism, and enhancing the attractiveness of the city-state as a hub for immigrants. In addition, the study delves into the indirect impact of these religious sites, in particular their role in promoting social cohesion, preserving cultural heritage and promoting community engagement. In Singapore, Buddhist temples are not only an integral part of the city's religious and spiritual life, but also part of the socio-cultural fabric, providing important services such as educational programs, charity work and Spaces for intercultural exchange. These contributions reflect the temple's deep-rooted influence on the local community and the wider social framework. However, the paper raises concerns about the growing problem of over-commercialization of religious sites, especially in China, where the trend is more pronounced.

By conducting a comprehensive review of existing literature and field research, this paper aims to elucidate the specific influence mechanisms of dormitory culture on students' learning attitudes and behavioral patterns, and to propose corresponding optimization strategies. This endeavor not only contributes to enriching and refining current educational theory but also offers a scientific rationale for the management and instructional practice in college dormitories. Furthermore, this study explores the associations between learning motivation, peer relationships, and academic performance. The research seeks to foster a healthier and more positive learning environment for college students, thereby enhancing their academic success and personal development.
With development of society, more and more parents pay attention to the problem about peer intercourse of children, but maladaptive parenting style is likely to have a negative impact on children's peer interaction. In order to explore the influence of parenting style on children's peer interaction behavior and peer interaction relationship, this study uses the literature review method to research and analyze the past Chinese and foreign survey results. Children under authoritative parenting style perform better in peer interaction. Children under authoritarian or neglected parenting style are more likely to be timid in peer interaction and be neglected. Children with indulgent parenting style produce more aggressive behavior in peer interaction and are often rejected by other children. Parents can change their parenting styles by changing their parents' educational concepts. At the same time, parents should maintain consistency in the upbringing of children. The parents also can provide children with opportunities for peer interaction, correctly guide them, and help children improve their level of peer interaction.
Maurice Merleau-Ponty's theory of the body brings a new perspective to Western philosophy and phenomenology. Merleau-Ponty inherited Husserl's phenomenology of consciousness and emphasized the idea of the oneness of mind and body. In this theory, Merleau-Ponty put forward the concept of “flesh” to oppose the Cartesian dichotomy of body and mind. In his understanding of perception, Merleau-Ponty proposed the concept of “perceptual field”, in which Merleau-Ponty believed that perception is embodied in the form of a field in which things can be presented in the most primitive and complete way, and perception is direct. At the same time, the concept of “flesh of the world” is also put forward. “Flesh” is the basic nature of people and the world, and the communication between human beings and the external world is the “flesh” and the “flesh” of the world. The communication between human beings and the external world is the direct mutual perception and interaction between the “flesh” and the “flesh of the world”. According to Merleau-Ponty, in communication, the body is the medium for perceiving and understanding symbols, and the meaning of symbols is formed through bodily experience and culture. The speech act is a complex expression of the body's interaction with the world that allows for a shared experience between the speaker and the listener. Merleau-Ponty's concept emphasizes the monadic embodiment of perception and thought, matter and consciousness in the body, breaking through the limitations of the a priori philosophical thinking of Western logic.
In modern society, the level of education is improving rapidly, followed by various educational problems. The importance of period of junior high school is obvious. The study pressure significantly influence the students' physical and mental health in this period. Most parents are very upset about the adverse reactions of students when they suffer from study stress. Therefore, this study will provide effective suggestions by analyzing the the influence of learning stress on learning burnout and academic self-efficacy. This study uses a literature review to make the research findings more unbiased and understandable. The results indicate that learning stress and learning burnout are strongly positively correlated. When faced with learning pressure, many middle school students will display negative emotions such as retreat, delay, and even quit up, which exhausts them. The results suggest that learning stress and academic self-efficacy are negatively correlated and interact. When learning pressure rises, students' learning self-efficacy falls, and when self-efficacy rises, the opposite occurs. In addition to creating psychological lessons on how students perceive learning pressure, educators can increase students' academic self-efficacy and learning self-confidence and adjust study pressure and intensity to a level that is generally acceptable to students.
In modern society, the mental health issues of adolescents are increasingly receiving public attention. The emotional and behavioral growth of adolescents is deeply influenced by their family environment, especially PC. The objective of this research is to investigate the influence of perceived parental conflict on the negative emotions and aggressive behaviors among adolescents, as well as to analyze the psychological mechanisms involved. By analyzing different research cases, it was found that PC is positively correlated with depression, social anxiety, and emotional insecurity in middle school students, and it can positively predict AB in these students. The fulfillment of fundamental psychological needs and positive psychological capital serve as intermediaries in the relationship between perceived PC and AB, including chain mediating effects. The family environment, particularly PC, significantly influences the psychological well-being of teenagers. To promote the mental fitness of adolescents and prevent undesirable behaviors, it is essential to strengthen family harmony education, raise parents' awareness of the impact of conflict behaviors, and provide psychological support at the school and community levels.
