This paper examines the effects of media reporting on tourism recovery in and after a crisis by measuring how negative, neutral and positive reports influence public perception and travel. Qualitative content analysis, using a mixed-methods approach, was performed on 500 news items from international, regional and social media outlets on crisis situations such as COVID-19 pandemic, 2019-2020 Australian bushfires, and the 2021 blockage of the Suez Canal. Additionally, a quantitative questionnaire among 1,000 participants explored the influence of press coverage on tourists’ choices and attitudes. Results indicate that locations depicted as bleak or sunny in the media required lengthy recovery cycles (ie, sharp drops in tourism), while balanced or positive narratives encouraged faster rebounds. Teenagers were particularly influenced by positive recovery stories circulated through social media. It focuses on how proactive media and crisis communications efforts can mitigate the negative effects of crises and foster faster recovery. By controlling the media narratives and emphasizing safety and resilience, tourism operators can reclaim public confidence and spur industry recovery.

The research examines the impact teacher beliefs about language learning have on classroom practices during second language acquisition (SLA). The study investigates educational psychological principles to understand the impact of teachers' previous experiences and professional growth on their instructional methods. The research team implemented a mixed-methods strategy that included surveys, interviews and classroom observations to obtain both quantitative and qualitative information. Teachers who follow communicative language teaching (CLT) principles prefer interactive student-centered teaching methods while teachers with traditional beliefs depend on grammar-based instruction approaches. During classroom observations teachers demonstrated clear connections between their reported beliefs and teaching methods but sometimes their subconscious beliefs diverged from their stated educational philosophies. The findings show how teacher cognition affects teaching effectiveness while demonstrating that reflective practice serves as a critical tool for improving teaching methods. Research findings show teacher training programs must cover multiple teaching philosophies and teach flexible methods to improve how students engage and learn.

Governments face major challenges in developing regulatory frameworks due to the quick advancement of digital technologies like social networks and virtual reality (VR). The research examines how European governments collaborate with digital platforms to create regulations for social networks and virtual reality. The case study approach enables this research to examine the collaborative policy development between governments and platforms which focuses on data privacy protection, content moderation and user safety while promoting innovative solutions. The study evaluates the effects of major European legislative measures like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Digital Services Act (DSA) on regulatory effectiveness and platform compliance. Through a comparative analysis this research examines how government-platform collaborations function differently across Europe, the United States, and Asia and how variations in regulatory strictness affect technological progress and user entitlements. Research indicates that government-platform collaboration serves as a vital mechanism for achieving equilibrium between regulation and innovation while providing important insights for other regions working on digital media policy development. The study highlights the requirement for flexible and open governance models that enable public interest protection in the management of new technologies.

As an essential strategic mineral in the new energy industry chain, lithium resources are crucial to China’s energy transition and national security. Argentina, as one of the core countries in the “Lithium Triangle,” has its political stability, policy direction, and international cooperation stance directly impacting the global supply structure of lithium resources. This paper uses the Overall National Security Concept as an analytical framework to explore how Argentina’s domestic political landscape and policies affect China’s lithium industry supply chain and offers corresponding countermeasures and recommendations.

This study fills a gap in existing literature by conducting a scoping review of Google Scholar (2017-2024). This study aims to examine the impacts of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Previous research did not fully explore these events. The study is to analyze several dimensions, like the economic, cultural, infrastructure, tourism, and hotel-related impacts of the World Cups in Russia and Qatar. The study will contribute significantly to the existing knowledge in this field. This study employed the scoping review method to define the goals, select Google Scholar, set search terms, screen literature, extract and verify data, and then analyze it. The findings reveal that 14 articles were discovered (5 on the 2018 World Cup and 9 on the 2022 World Cup), with the majority of publishing occurring in 2019 and 2023. The effects encompass economic factors such as Qatar's GDP expansion, cultural transformations, and infrastructure advancements. The economic consequences encompass multiple aspects, with growth and enhancements observed in the tourism and hospitality industries. These findings may assist future studies regarding the World Cup and its 2026 host.

Reflecting on the construction of Safe Zhejiang under the context of a large-scale society and holistic security is a strong response to the "Two High-Level" construction proposed at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. It also provides a useful reference for co-building a modernized grassroots governance system in the new era. This paper aims to analyze the underlying logic affecting residents' sense of security through four dimensions: safety issues, accidental incidents, types of crimes, and criminal organizations. It further explains the challenges encountered in advancing Safe Zhejiang, including "an increase in the number of criminal cases," "a decline in public security conditions," and "generally low public participation." To address these issues, new models for Safe Zhejiang construction can be explored through strengthening Party-led governance, rational resource allocation, and establishing collaborative governance mechanisms.

With its long historical and cultural heritage and rich cultural resources, Xi'an has become a world-renowned "ancient capital for thousands of years". As the forerunner of cooperation in jointly building the "Belt and Road" Initiative, the five Central Asian countries have had close and profound relations with Xi'an since the "Ancient Silk Road". With the implementation of the "Belt and Road" Initiative and the China-Central Asia Summit held in Xi'an, the frequency of Xi'an entering the international vision has greatly increased, which also presents new requirements for the construction of Xi'an’s urban image. This paper, based on the analysis of reports on Xi'an by mainstream media in Central Asian countries and the construction of relations between China and Central Asian countries, aims to analyze the problems existing in the construction of Xi'an’s urban image under specific practices, explore strategies for transforming Xi'an’s urban image from "flat" to "three-dimensional", and discuss the innovative path of constructing Xi'an’s urban image in Central Asian countries and the international community. The goal is to shape a "modern Chang'an."

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology has propelled AIGC (Artificial Intelligence Generated Content) technology to become a key driving force in the field of video creation. This represents not only an innovation in creative thinking but also a reshaping of the industrial ecosystem. This paper explores the multi-dimensional impacts of AIGC on the video industry by analyzing its role in simplifying the video industry chain and its decentralized creation model that shifts the narrative subject. The study finds that AIGC has clear advantages in enhancing creative efficiency, reducing costs, and enriching content diversity. At the same time, the potential challenges arising from its deep integration are discussed, with the paper offering theoretical support and practical references for the sustainable development of the video industry, particularly in terms of copyright, ethics, artistic innovation, and employment.

Eating is an essential part in daily life; unhealthy eating habits can increase the risk of obesity and may ultimately trigger various diseases. This review investigated the brain activation patterns, food choice preferences, reward system dysfunction, and impulsive behavior in obese people in response to food cues. This study found that obese individuals showed significant differences in the activation of brain regions in response to food stimuli, particularly in the regions associated with reward, compared to healthy, normal-weight people. In addition, obese individuals were more likely to choose palatable foods high in calories, fat, and sugar, which may be related to abnormalities in the reward system. At the same time, obese individuals showed a higher propensity for impulsive behavior (more willing to choose to consume palatable food that brings happiness at that moment but ignores the long-term health problem). These findings provide a new perspective for understanding the neural mechanisms of obesity and provide a theoretical basis for developing effective interventions.
