The Tujia is an ancient ethnic group with a long history, and the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is one of their inhabited areas. This region, with its continuous mountains and rich cultural heritage, has nurtured diverse forms of music. Unique Tujia musical forms such as Daliuzi, wedding weeping songs, Tima songs, Youshui labor chants, and Tujia folk songs were included in the national intangible cultural heritage list in the 21st century. This paper focuses on the Tujia Daliuzi music of Western Hunan. Through platforms such as CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and Chaoxing, relevant literature was collected and reviewed using the literature review method. The paper organizes the known literature on Tujia Daliuzi music from Western Hunan, summarizing materials on the basic overview, score inheritance and collection, band composition, instrument performance, and subsequent development after being listed as intangible cultural heritage. By summarizing the literature on Tujia Daliuzi music, the paper aims to deepen the understanding of this ethnic musical genre
This paper explores the practical implications of attachment style in romantic relationships, grounded in attachment theory, which examines the emotional bonds formed between infants and their caregivers during early childhood. The study examines how attachment styles developed in infancy influence romantic relationships in adulthood, including their impact on mental models, attachment histories, and relationship stability. A literature review is conducted on a recent study that conceptualizes romantic love as an attachment process, analyzing the role of attachment styles in relationship dissolution and how individuals with varying attachment styles respond to breakups. The result shows that different attachment styles formed in early childhood persist and can predict the emotional bond in adult romantic relationships. Securely attached individuals experience more happiness and security in romantic relationships, while those with anxious attachments are associated with more insecurity and high distress when facing relational termination. Avoidant attachment style is a predictor of relational termination, as they experience minimal stress and relaxation after relationship dissolution. The convergence of these two research is instrumental in understanding the lasting impact of early childhood attachment on the dynamics of romantic love in adult life, and its practical implications for relationship counseling and therapy
The adaptation of a dramatic work is both an innovative and demanding endeavor. By building upon the original text, a skillful reimagining can imbue the characters with more dynamic portrayals and distinctive linguistic styles. Meticulous management of the narrative structure and rhythm can create a story arc that is both tumultuous and captivating, ensuring that the audience's emotional engagement remains consistently heightened. And multiple use of stage art, such as wonderful sets, lighting and sound effects, etc., adds rich layers and strong artistic infectivity to the whole theatre, thus bringing significant additive effects and allowing the theatre to show a more splendid charm. Some people see the silent tablets in the temple, while others can hear the deafening echoes of history and see blood splattered in the market place. The text is adapted to the stage, so that the other world can slowly reappear. This paper will examine the original rendition of Fayuan Temple in Beijing by Mr. Li Ao alongside the theatrical adaptation directed by Tian Qinxin. The analysis will concentrate on three key aspects: the transformation of the text, the management of the plot and pacing, and the diverse stage artistry. The aim is to evaluate the cumulative impact of dramatic adaptation in relation to the source material
Hero is a figure who embodies the national spirit and represents the values and spirit of a nation. With the development of film production, there has been a notable increase in the number of people who have focused their attention on female heroes. This paper employs Hofstadter's dimension framework to elucidate the distinctions between female heroes in Chinese and American movies. In order to facilitate a comparative analysis of the portrayal of female heroes in Chinese and American movies, four war-themed movies were selected for this study. Ultimately, it is found that values exert the greatest influence on individualism, Collectivism, Masculinity, Femininity and power distance. Concurrently, as bilateral exchanges between China and the United States become more profound, there is also a mutual influence on each other in terms of values. The research of Chinese and American cultures of heroism also creates more space for individuals to reflect on life and society later and to preach heroism in the contemporary era
With the rapid development of new media, traditional radio stations are facing many challenges such as audience loss, increased competition for content, and changes in profit models. This study reviews the progress of profitability strategies and innovation of traditional radio stations in the new media environment, and analyses the conceptual framework of media convergence and its impact on radio stations. In today's era of rapid development and emergence of new media technologies, radio stations are facing a number of challenges, especially in the control of content quality, regulatory issues, changes in profitability models, as well as content innovation and technology application, radio stations have to actively seek a variety of coping strategies. To effectively adapt to these changes, broadcasters must make necessary adjustments and improvements to remain resilient in an increasingly competitive environment. In addition, this paper does not only discuss the current situation, it actually mentions some potential directions for future research, which may include the study of how radio stations can carry out effective transformation strategies in different cultural contexts, as well as the various applications that new technologies can play in radio stations
As the number of English learners from different countries and regions increases, the difference in learning effectiveness and efficiency caused by different native language backgrounds are gradually becoming significant. The Article in English is one of the functional words with significant differences in this respect. This article aims to review and summarize the theoretical and empirical studies on English article acquisition and classifies the native language backgrounds into two types: native language backgrounds with the system of articles, native language backgrounds without the system of articles. Based on the classification, this paper is attempt to analyze the specific effects and degree of influence about different native language backgrounds on the efficiency and effectiveness of article acquisition. This paper indicates that students from different native language backgrounds, especially those without articles, face significant difficulties in the acquisition of English articles, Additionally, differences in article system between the native language and the target language would also lead to difficulties. This paper explains the reasons for the phenomenon by organizing and analyzing the experimental methods and results in the empirical study
On the basis of an introduction to the native languages of Galicia and the linguistic diversity of the region, this paper aims to present a comprehensive overview of the efforts made by Spain’s government, autonomous community authorities, and civil society to safeguard the Galician language. It delves into various aspects such as legislation, education, and cultural media that have been employed to protect and promote Galician. By evaluating the effects of these language protection policies on language usage patterns, transmission dynamics, and societal attitudes, this study seeks to gain insights into their effectiveness. The findings shed light on both positive outcomes achieved thus far and challenges encountered in preserving Galician as a living language. Drawing from these observations, an analysis is conducted to identify areas where existing language preservation policies can be improved. This includes exploring ways to enhance the efficacy of linguistic laws and regulations while also addressing any shortcomings or gaps that may hinder effective implementation
With the rapid rise of the Internet and new media, reversed online public opinion has become increasingly common, challenging public cognition and the principle of news authenticity. From the perspective of social combustion theory, this paper explores the mechanisms behind such reversals. Reversed public opinion resembles a "combustion" process: "combustible materials" are factors causing social instability, "accelerants" include social media platforms and public emotions, and the "ignition temperature" represents sudden impactful events. Once public emotions reach a tipping point, reversed news emerges rapidly. Self-media often rush to publish unverified information in pursuit of traffic, becoming a key source of reversals. Journalists lacking professional ethics and objectivity further intensify the phenomenon. The public, influenced by cognitive biases and emotional triggers, inadvertently amplifies these reversals during dissemination. To reduce the societal harm of reversed news, mainstream media should guide public opinion by restoring facts through authoritative reporting. Journalists must adhere to ethical principles of objectivity and truth, while the audience should enhance media literacy, approach news critically, and avoid spreading unverified information. Collaborative efforts are essential to fostering a healthy and orderly media environment where online public opinion serves societal development
As a profound literary form that reflects individual life journeys and their historical contexts, oral autobiographies hold an irreplaceable position in the realm of Chinese literature. They serve not only as precious records of personal memories but also as vivid portrayals of historical transitions and social landscapes. In recent years, with the continuous development of translation studies, Eco-Translatology has emerged as an innovative and dynamic theoretical framework, becoming a focal topic within the field of translation research and attracting extensive scholarly attention and in-depth exploration. This theory emphasizes viewing translation as an interactive process within an ecosystem, focusing on the dynamic balance and harmonious coexistence among the source text, translator, target text, and the translation environment. This paper attempts to apply the core principles of Eco-Translatology to practical translation tasks, selecting the oral autobiography One Hundred Years, Many People, Many Stories by Yang Yi as the object of study. Based on a thorough understanding of the source text’s content and the author’s emotions and intentions, the paper conducts a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the translation from three perspectives: linguistic, cultural, and communicative dimensions. Through this research, the aim is to provide a new perspective and methodological inspiration for the translation of autobiographical texts, promoting more diversified and integrated approaches in translation studies. Additionally, this study seeks to enrich and expand existing translation frameworks, offering valuable references for future translation practices
Second language acquisition (SLA) is a key focus for educators and linguists as society becomes increasingly bilingual and multilingual. Mastering one language is no longer enough to meet global demands, prompting research into effective SLA strategies. While much of this research targets adult learners, there is growing recognition of the importance of children’s SLA. Understanding the factors that influence children’s language learning is crucial for developing effective teaching methods with both theoretical and practical relevance. Although studies on children’s SLA are limited, a consensus is emerging that early exposure and immersive environments enhance language acquisition. As economic improvements allow more parents to invest in overseas educational programs, many believe that immersion in a native-speaking environment offers the best language learning outcomes, and starting language learning early is widely accepted as beneficial. In addition to the right age and immersive environment, children's personalities and attitudes affect their learning speed. Extroverted children with positive attitudes tend to acquire language more quickly, while introverted children may progress more slowly. Parents also play a key role in facilitating language learning at home by creating an engaging English-speaking environment through activities like listening to picture book audio or watching English cartoons. For those with resources, sending children abroad before puberty for immersive experiences can provide valuable interaction with native speakers; however, it is recommended to stay for at least six months due to the common "silent period" in language learning
