The advent of digital technology has precipitated the emergence of virtual idols as a novel phenomenon within the domains of entertainment and marketing. The breakthrough of digital technology pushes the virtual idol industry into the 3.0 era. These idols are the product of sophisticated computer-generated imagery (CGI) techniques, encompassing three-dimensional animation, motion capture and artificial intelligence (AI)-generated characters. They have effectively transformed the manner in which films engage with audiences, facilitating more immersive and interactive promotional strategies. The burgeoning popularity and technological sophistication within this domain indicate that virtual idols are not merely ephemeral trends, but rather, pivotal catalysts for the evolution of entertainment in the future. The present study employed a mixed-method approach, integrating both qualitative content analysis of marketing campaigns and quantitative surveys to assess audience perceptions. The findings indicate that virtual idols have a substantial impact on brand awareness and audience engagement, thereby generating new opportunities for digital storytelling in the context of film marketing.

"Jirai Onna" is a phrase that originated in Japanese anonymous forums and is most commonly used to denote a variety of women who are considered to be psychologically sub-healthy. However, with changes in times and discourse environments, the meaning of the term has evolved based on social realities, developing different nuances. The term itself has also expanded its reach with the advancement of communication technologies, particularly forming a new youth subculture phenomenon in China. This article separately outlines the developmental history of "Jirai Onna" in both China and Japan, and provides a distinct summary of the developing history of "Jirai Onna" in both China and Japan. Finally, it provides a potential analysis of the factors that contribute to the disparities in the Landmine Girl culture that exist between China and Japan. The expectation is that this will be of use to researchers in the future who are investigating different young subculture organizations.

This paper focuses on the lives of female artists during the Renaissance, who faced many challenges while pursuing their career. Societal prejudices and lack of education placed restrictions on their career; problems such as misattribution and absent recognition also led to difficulties in accrediting female artists. Still, artists like Plautilla Nelli, Sofonisba Anguissola, Properzia De’ Rossi, Caterina van Hemessen, Diana Mantuana, Lavinia Fontana, and Artemisia Gentileschi became significant figures in the art field by breaking the conventional gender barriers. From tiny portraitures to sculptures to large scale paintings, female artists accomplished works across all areas in the art field. Some worked their way up to the courts of Spanish royalty, others earned a living through artistic commission and owned their own workshop. Some, like Anguissola and Gentileschi, were courageous enough to corporate unconventional opinions and even feminist ideals into their art. This paper aims to accredit the deserved recognition of many significant female artists who accomplished great achievements in the course of art history.

In recent years, the global feminist film industry has shown explosive growth, and its development trajectory has broken through the traditional film and television framework. At the same time, some women's films have used the advantages of women's tracks to build a mature IP industry chain, and the commercial value of women's films has been continuously improved. This trend is reflected not only in the structural transformation of the main body of creation, but also in the deep extension of the industrial chain. From the publication of film and television-linked books to film-derived goods, a complete IP ecological closed loop including film and television, publishing, games and peripheral goods has been formed. Feminist films have created a high market scale in the world through narrative innovation, technological empowerment and consumer scene reconstruction. Against this background, this article summarizes the concept and definition of women's films through literature analysis and data analysis methods and explains the development trend of women's films. Not only has the narrative subject changed, but women as creators have gradually joined the production of films. At the same time, it also reveals the women's consumption market and provides specific reference opinions for future film and television creation.

This study explores disability theory of time—an important concept emerging from the field of disability research—and advocates for disrupting the normative framework to reconstruct the cognition of time—and to reconstruct the form of contemporary film and television narratives. Traditional film and television narratives often follow linear temporal logic, emphasizing the achievement of goals and the resolution of contradictions. This model tends to exclude the disabled experience that cannot be accommodated. By analyzing five film and television works (“Camp for the Disabled,” “Special,” “Peanut Butter Falcon,” “Casual,” and “Diddy”), this article reveals how discontinuous timelines, open endings, and flexible narrative rhythms challenge established paradigms. Combining text analysis and a mixed-method audience survey (with 152 valid samples), the study focuses on the interactive relationship between image aesthetic strategies and audience feedback. The data show that there are significant differences between disabled and non-disabled audiences in terms of scene resonance, emotional immersion, and narrative satisfaction. The research revealed that time spent with people with disabilities is not only a tool for artistic expression but also a key avenue for reconstructing the creative paradigm. By emphasizing interpersonal relationships, uncertainty, and real-life experiences, it offers new possibilities for breaking the inertia of traditional narratives. This research result expands the cross-disciplinary dimension of media studies and disability theory, advocating for the establishment of a more inclusive temporal narrative system in creative practice.

Western film is one of the most complete, longest surviving, and largest genre narrative film types in the development of American film history. It has always been regarded as a unique cultural carrier for interpreting the “American spirit” and the deep collective psychology. This paper conducts an analysis of the American Western film through the lens of film ontology, examining its development and evolution as a case study. It serves as a platform to elucidate both the achievements and constraints inherent in the artistic exploration of the Western genre across various historical periods, particularly in relation to film aesthetics and ideological frameworks. The investigation delves into the underlying factors that have influenced the transformation of narrative characteristics within Western films. Furthermore, it posits the necessity of revitalizing the genre itself, seeking to understand the successes and limitations of Western cinema in the context of the suppressive nature of ideological tools and the progression of artistic ontology. It seeks to go from the suppression of its iterative ideological domination tool to the rebirth of its artistic essence, showing the original power of the movie itself.

Defining art through artistic values remains a controversial issue in the field of art, with a myriad of artistic values such as aesthetic, historical and emotional values defining works of art. Likewise, it is a challenging task to clearly explain the relationship between these artistic values and to systematically sort out the logical relationships between them to assess their order more effectively. The main question of the research will be interconnected with the definitions of the various values provided in the article and identify some of the links between them. This paper analyzes the relationship between moral, educational and symbolic values and their validity for the definition of art. By analyzing a range of extreme and moderate examples presented by scholars, the study aims to distill the most balanced conclusions and compare them to popular theoretical perspectives. Ultimately, through logical reasoning, the study identifies moral value as a central factor influencing aesthetic value. This value not only plays a key role in the formation of aesthetic perceptions, but also exhibits a complex interrelationship with cognitive values.

Sound symbolism, the study of the direct relationship between sound and meaning, challenges the traditional notion of the arbitrariness of linguistic symbols. This paper reviews recent experimental research, particularly studies utilizing nonce words, to explore the mechanisms and universality of sound-meaning associations and discuss the thematic and methodological innovations and restraints. Our synthetic review highlights the recently-discussed aspects including the robustness and ubiquity, the inner mechanism and potential undermining factors of the well-known bouba/kiki effect, suggesting that sound symbolism is deeply rooted in human cognition, although different methodological realizations may lead to contradicting findings. In light of the importance of sound symbolism in language evolution, acquisition, and use, this research underscores the crucial role of relevant bouba/kiki experiments as probe, which can offer a cross-linguistic perspective applicable to a wide range of languages and speakers.

This study investigates the cultural impact of the Pantheon after the fall of the classical Roman empire. The research aims to understand how the cultural and social development of the pantheon shifted alongside it’s physical changes, leading up to how we see the pantheon today. The study employs a qualitative approach centered on textual analysis to explore the shifting perception of the pantheon. There is a specific focus on works that discuss both the design of the pantheon and the cultural context, combining historical analysis with comparative studies of architectural techniques. Primary sources include architectural plans, historical texts, and contemporary analyses of the Pantheon. The analysis is guided by a framework that combines architectural theory with cultural studies. This includes examining the Pantheon as a symbol of imperial power and its adaptation in various cultural contexts throughout history. The study also employs comparative analysis with other structures that have design similarities to the Pantheon, such as the Hagia Sophia. The data were analyzed to identify themes related to the Pantheon’s cultural significance, such as its influence on Renaissance architecture and its role in the religious and civic life of Rome. Comparative analysis with other significant structures from the same period was also employed to highlight the Pantheon’s unique contributions. Overall, this study uses the Pantheon to illustrate how monumental structures can shape and reflect the identity of a civilization across time, as a testament to the interplay between architecture and culture.
