The matter has continued to develop for 106 days since the revelation of the suicide of teenager Hu Xinyu. The incident was pushed to the climax after the official release of factual evidence. This is because people still have doubts and questions about the attitude toward the information released by the officials. As a result, the issue of the government’s crisis of confidence has erupted again. Taking People’s Daily as the research object, this article will use the case study method, content analysis method, and data collection method to introduce the development process of the Hu Xinyu case as the starting point to analyze the culmination of the development of Hu Xinyu case event, as well as the Weibo comment data of People’s Daily’s official Weibo account about the event, the reasons that caused the bifurcation of Hu Xinyu case comment, regional influence, and whether to trust the government. This paper summarizes that the release of official information in China should grasp the three main points of fast, accurate, and hard, while the dissemination of information needs to cross-regional differences and make full use of the network resource platform to strengthen communication, regulate the network environment and create a good atmosphere for public opinion. For the release of information on hot events, it should focus on the audience and take the audience’s needs as the starting point, thus realizing the transformation of the audience from observers to participants.

In patriarchal gaming culture, female gamers have limited space for discourse. The establishment of the “Female Gamers’ Association” provides a new channel for female gamers to resist male hegemony in both games and reality through game sharing and discourse criticism. Therefore, this paper tries to explore how female gamers confront male discourses and build their identities through a series of discursive practices around games and gender on social media. This paper analyzes the posts from the “Female Gamers’ Association” group on the social media platform Douban and uses online ethnography for further observation. The study finds that although female gamers have formed a new discursive space and resisted the mainstream gaming environment by creating their own communities, there are still limitations to this resistance, and the active resistance of female gamers also contains elements of passive submission. The study of the “Female Gamers’ Association” provides a clearer understanding of the complexities of female gamers in a male-dominated virtual space and their agency in the face of pressure.

Since ancient times, each era has had its own unique standard of beauty. The standards of beauty in modern society are very different from those in ancient times. In modern society, thin is beautiful, and women wear clothes to highlight their figures. This may not be a personal standard of beauty, but it has spread throughout society and is respected by many people. BM is an Italian clothing brand that goes by the full name Brandy Melville and is known for having only one size. BM style is a clothing style based on the clothes produced by this brand, which rose in the 1980s. Taking the BM style as an example, this paper will explore the origin, characteristics, popular reasons, and existing disputes of the BM style to demonstrate the aesthetic standards of today’s society. This kind of aesthetic standard first produces certain negative effects on the body. Women who don’t fit this criterion will get there in unhealthy ways. Secondly, it also has an impact on women’s psychology. If woman does not meet this standard, they will be discriminated against by the society, by man, even by other woman who fits that standard. These negative effects show how ridiculous this aesthetic is.

This article attempts to use Nietzsche’s perspective to elaborate on his criticism of the original sin and heaven concepts in Christianity. Here, the author will first elaborate on Nietzsche’s important tool for criticizing Christianity, which is the will to power. In Nietzsche’s works, the will to power is described as an irrational, natural, and inherent desire for expansion in all things in the world. It is a combination of Schopenhauer’s will to survive and the spirit of Bacchus. Next, the author will first clarify the essence of Christianity from Nietzsche’s perspective, and then divide the criticism into original sin criticism and heaven criticism, both of which ultimately lead to the weakening of one’s own spirit. The author will provide a partial explanation of how Christianity induces people to fall into weakness step by step, which will be divided into two parts: ticket theory and choice theory.

Historic and cultural districts reflect the cultural memory of a specific historical period, but they are also the physical space where real people live and move around, and therefore their conservation is an important part of urban development. This study takes the old district renovation project of Enning Road in Guangzhou as an example, describes the current situation after the renovation, discusses the problems, refers to successful cases of renovation at home and abroad, and proposes renovation measures from the perspective of visitors’ sense of experience. From the end of the 19th century to the present day, a series of renovation policies have revitalised Enning Road, and the transformation has gradually changed from large-scale demolition and construction to micro-renewal of the city. The development of Enning Road, as a commercial centre with a local historical character, has revealed a lack of renovation for the experience of tourists in terms of travel and safety, as the number of tourists attracted has increased year by year. This paper proposes zoning and beautification of shop decoration, enhanced traffic safety planning in the scenic area and the development of special tourist routes under the conditions of tourist demand.

As an essential member of the tangible cultural heritage, historic architectural heritage contains unique historical and social values. This paper describes the current state of conservation of historic buildings and the ways of conservation, revitalization and renewal by the Macao authorities, and draws on the Cathedral of the Merciful Jesus in Goa, India, and Coventry Cathedral in England, to provide suggestions for the conservation and restoration of the site of St. Paul’s College in Macao. St. Paul’s College is divided into three main parts: St. Paul’s Church, the Seminary, and the Fortress, for conservation, revitalization, and renewal. The current conservation and renewal measures of the site are still inadequate. By analyzing the conservation strategies and the current situation, St. Paul’s College needs the cooperation of the government and the public to value and improve the reuse value of the site and increase its visibility. At the same time, the use of rich restoration and renewal methods, combined with the current situation of society in the restoration and renewal of the site, can present valuable ideas.

The advancement of science and technology affects how people interact culturally. More and more works of art today have mysticism as their central theme. Mysticism has not disappeared from the public’s consciousness despite the fact that there are more and more materialists today. Religious activities grew more common as the Middle Ages emerged in the West, playing a significant role in history. The belief and culture of the East are also influenced by Eastern Buddhism, Islam, and other religions. Given that mysticism is the founding culture of humanity, several histories describe the development of religion, human civilization, and the majority of historical texts pertaining to mysticism. Through the analysis of both ancient and contemporary mystic art as well as historical documents, the author will examine the impact of mysticism on human art. Based on such information, this research has revealed that numerous ideologies and creative expressions from the mysticism of the past have impacted a lot of modern art. Both the surrealist works of the Remedies Varo and the spiritual abstract paintings of Hilma of Klint demonstrate the upper reaches of human civilisation. And many contemporary artists are drawn to the mysticism that has impacted contemporary literary works.
