After the end of the Cold War, the world pattern gradually changed from the bipolar pattern of the United States and the Soviet Union to multi-polarization. In this context, the United States, Russia, China, the European Union, the League of Arab States, and other “poles” have a greater influence on the change of the world situation, and the Russia-Ukraine war, the relations between the United States and China, the oil crisis, and other factors are constructing international relations. The American think tank defines some countries with an international voice but different preferences for cooperation as “global swing countries” and expands the original four countries (India, Indonesia, Brazil, Turkey) to six countries (adding Saudi Arabia and South Africa). These are also countries that the Western world, led by the United States, is trying to win over. This paper focuses on the development of Saudi Arabia after the implementation of the new policy in the context of multi-polarity and the reasons for the United States to regain the concept of “global swing state”. The main research method is literature analysis, and the data and reports obtained from the official website are combined on the basis of scholars’ research. It can be seen that the new policies represented by the “2030 vision” introduced by Saudi Arabia since Salman came to power meet the development needs of Saudi Arabia and have achieved certain results. After a period of flat relations between the United States and Saudi Arabia, the United States has attached great importance to it. The reason is that national interests determine international relations.

With the continuous development of China's consumer market, art, and commercial brand co-branding in the era of the commodity economy has become an important development strategy in the commercial field, the brand enriches the connotation of the brand with the power of the artist, and the art also goes to the public with the influence of the brand to broaden the road of art development. However, at the same time, it also exposes many problems in the phenomenon of art and commercial brand co-branding. This study adopts the literature research method, comparative and inductive method, and case study method to analyse the phenomenon of co-branding between art and commercial brands based on different disciplinary perspectives of brand visual image design, art commercialization, and aesthetic education. Through the study, the co-branding of brand and art needs to grasp and deepen the connotation of the brand and explore the potential of cooperation. In addition, the artwork needs to highlight the aesthetic value and return to the heart of art. Finally, people should pay attention to the purpose of aesthetic education and cooperate to create an aesthetic environment. Thus, the characteristics and commonalities between the two can be better grasped and utilised to seek more interdisciplinary and diversified co-branding paths. While creating a favourable atmosphere for art and business brands they should actively take on more social responsibility and continue the vitality of both.

This article explores the transformation of crisis diplomacy in the 21st century and reflects on the evolution of crisis diplomacy from primarily focusing on national and international conflicts to encompassing broader global crises such as climate change, public health, and technological interference. The discussion revolves around three main themes: the increasingly complex global crisis that transcends borders, the increasing influence of non-governmental actors in shaping diplomatic participation, and the impact of the rapid development of information technology on diplomatic practice. The paper emphasizes how traditional diplomatic methods can be adjusted to address the interdependence and multifaceted nature of modern crises, which require international cooperation efforts and innovative diplomatic strategies. Analyze and draw on historical examples, compare past diplomatic methods with contemporary approaches that integrate non-state actors and digital platforms, and emphasize the need to expand diplomatic scope in today's interdependent global environment.

Baudrillard is a famous French postmodern philosopher with a vast array of theories and writings. Based on Baudrillard's reflection on Marx's critique of political economy, the article takes the social and ideological origins of the theory of mimesis as the starting point of the study. Unlike Marx, Baudrillard's theory of mimesis involves a 'model' that appears as the initial form of the mimesis. Baudrillard's argument that the proliferation of mimesis and simulation has led to the demise of the real, and that the real world can be produced through modelling without the need for prototypes, adds a new dimension to reflections on Marx's critical theory of society, and expands the horizons and methodologies of contemporary Marxist research. The paper traces the premise and development of the theory of mimesis by analysing the turn towards consumer society, and presents the specifics of mimesis theory as a whole by keeping in mind Baudrillard's principle of symbolic exchange and his reflections on modern technology. This paper analyses the concept of mimesis based on Baudrillard's later theories, and attempts to explain the specific connotations of mimesis and its related concepts. This paper focuses on three related concepts of mimesis: "mimesis", "hyperreal" and "implosion", and explains in detail the differences between these four concepts on the basis of Baudrillard's work. Based on Baudrillard's work, the differences between these four concepts are explained in detail. Explores the symbolic order, social entities, and media influences in which the concept of "mimesis" occurs.

The concept of availability originated from perceptual psychology, which provides an important cognitive perspective for understanding the relationship between humans and technology, and emphasizes the relationship attributes between humans (or animals) and technology (or environment). This paper uses the Street Cat application as a case study to investigate the impact of live streaming pet-raising apps on users' sustained usage. It concludes that these apps can offer users a sense of self-worth, opportunities for interaction with the platform, and a real-time experience. The availability of the platform not only provides users with immersive features but also satisfies their empathy for content. The availability of this type of APP has influenced the mechanisms of sustained user use in the development of new media, elevating positive interactive platforms to a new level and providing new directions for media psychology.

The European Union has been in a period of enlargement fatigue for a long time since its explosive eastward enlargement, with a corresponding deceleration in its enlargement policy for the Western Balkans. But since 2018, and especially after the Ukrainian crisis in 2022, the European Union has begun to try to adjust its policies in the Western Balkans and try to change the deceleration of its enlargement. On the basis of constructivism theory, this paper analyses the reasons for the adjustments mainly using comparative and textual analysis. On the one hand, the European Union constructs its own perceptions on the basis of environmental feedback. On the other hand, the European Union has a normative basis for its next expansion, and the Western Balkans have also developed a certain degree of normative internalization through a number of subregional cooperation mechanisms. The European Union recognized the process of gradual convergence between the two sides, which promoted policy adjustments. The current strategic logic of the European Union presents a predominantly security logic, with a prominent geopolitical discourse. There are still challenges in the accession process of the Western Balkans, and the European Union still needs to further explore the optimal path for the development of relations between the two sides.

In the 1980s and 90s, Hong Kong-born Cantopop music reached a climax of popularity throughout Asia. The genre’s development serves as a lyrical mirror reflecting Hong Kong’s unique cultural history. First inspired by popular musical forms from the 1920s, its development serves as an artistic resolution to the competition between Asian self-awareness experienced by the British colony’s Chinese majority and local pride generated by living in a wealthy Western oasis sheltered from much of the instability that plagued neighboring countries. Cantopop as a distinct cultural product is defined by major historical shifts in Hong Kong’s history, from rebellion against British colonial hubris to the aftermath of World War II, international relations during the Korean War, the immigration of musical artists from Mainland China and Taiwan, local reactions to events in China, and Hong Kong’s uneven economic advancement as an Asian Tiger. These events would leave a mark on the local Hong Kong identity, expressed musically through Cantopop, as waves of immigration and borrowing from foreign traditions formed a new and distinct political, social and cultural identity. This paper traces and explains this musical development by juxtaposing Hong Kong’s history with changing musical trends.

In the past fifteen years, mega-events in East Asia have experienced a significant shift in their nature and impact on international relations. Historically seen as positive platforms for cultural exchange and regional stability, these events have increasingly become sources of conflict and geopolitical tension. This paper provides a comprehensive review and typology of mega-events, categorizing them into five types: geopolitical conflicts, crises under the Sino-American framework, ideological and propaganda issues, territorial disputes, and environmental issues. The study reveals how these events now exacerbate regional tensions and highlights the need for more nuanced and detailed research to understand their evolving roles. By examining these trends, this paper contributes to the understanding of mega-events' multifaceted impacts on the socio-political landscape of East Asia, offering insights for policymakers and scholars to navigate future regional dynamics.

The origins of German nationalism can be traced back to the late 18th century, influenced by a myriad of factors including political, cultural, social, and economic transformations. The Napoleonic Wars ignited the German people's spirit of resistance, uniting them against foreign adversaries. During the anti-French struggle, a shared sense of national identity gradually emerged among the German populace, fostering the belief that only through national unity could external aggression be repelled. The Napoleonic Wars also spurred the economic integration of Germany and propelled the development of German capitalism. Additionally, German nationalist thinkers during the Napoleonic era called for unity against foreign enemies, leading to the early formation of nationalist thought. These factors collectively advanced the formation and development of German national consciousness. This process was not only a response to external pressures but also a result of internal social transformations and intellectual progress, laying the foundation for the unification of Germany in the late 19th century.
