Under the current Chinese education system, academic performance is still a hot issue that is widely concerned by people. Academic performance reflects students' learning outcomes, which not only affects students' future development, but also reflects the quality of school education. Therefore, in-depth exploration and analysis of the reasons for differences in academic performance remains of practical significance. Middle school students are in their adolescence. Adolescents are a critical period of personal growth, and their academic performance is easily affected by a combination of factors. Family education plays a critical role in adolescent academic achievement. Based on the CEPS baseline survey data from the China Education Tracking Survey, this paper analyzes the basic situation of the family environment of adolescents, and explores the effect of various family factors on students' academic achievement through correlation analysis. Finally, based on the analysis of the above research results, we found that family relationships, parental education, and parental involvement are positively related to students' academic performance, and proposed relevant suggestions for improving junior high school students' academic performance.

Virtual reality technology was proposed and developed by Mr. Jaron Lanier, founder of VPL in the United States, in 1984, which is the first popular virtual reality device in the world. However, due to equipment, functions, etc., the technology has been in a slow development stage. Especially when the epidemic breaks out, many students were forced to study online at home, at which time, software such as classic Zoom burst out one after another, but students are isolated from each other and only face a computer when they have classes at home. Therefore, students cannot timely communicate with teachers about their doubts in the class, at the same time, teachers cannot get feedback from students in time. For this reason, this paper makes a specific analysis of the impact of virtual reality technology, on online education through using eye tracking technology to judge whether the virtual reality classroom is conducive to students' learning by comparing students' concentration and immersion. This study finds that there are still some shortcomings in virtual reality education, and it is not feasible to completely replace offline education. However, as an auxiliary tool for reality education, it is currently the main development direction. The significance of this study lies in discovering the advantages and disadvantages of current virtual reality education and providing direction for the development of virtual reality education in the future.

Population aging is a global problem. This article will research the problem of population aging in China. How to alleviate the aging problem from two aspects, the first aspect is to improve the fertility rate, and the second is from the immigration analysis. The fertility problem is mainly alleviated by improving women’s happiness and reducing the pressure. The immigration problem should mainly consider the elderly’s understanding and acceptance of overseas pensions, the expected overseas pension, etc. It’s can help us to better understand the needs of the elderly and actively build pension services overseas. It should be noted that the problem of the aging population is already a problem of globalization, so immigration cannot fundamentally solve the problem but play a mitigation role. Therefore, the strategy to solve the problem of population aging should focus on increasing the fertility rate. This article will mainly discuss the causes and solutions of the low fertility rate from the perspective of women’s happiness.

In recent years, the number and proportion of the elderly population in China has been rising, and it is facing a serious trend of population aging. This paper focuses on the negative impact of China’s relevant policies on population aging and birth rate. Through literature analysis and data survey, this paper finds that the implementation of China’s family planning policy has to some extent suppressed the growth of the population, but also exacerbated issues such as population aging, labor shortage, and caused a decline in the fertility rate. To address this issue, the government needs to take more active and effective measures, including the increasing social security investment, encouraging fertility, and strengthening elderly welfare, to ensure the quality of life of the elderly population and sustainable economic development.

Under the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic and the introduction of a guideline by Chinese authorities to ease the burdens of excessive homework and off-campus tutoring for students undergoing compulsory education, New Oriental, a famous education institution in the tutoring sector in China, has faced many challenges. In this context, New Oriental launched an online platform named Oriental Selection for live streaming marketing and obtained great success. In this paper, the author introduces the background information of the Oriental Selection platform and discusses the reasons for the platform’s success. Conclusions can be drawn that Oriental Selection’s operation mode combining business promotion and knowledge delivery makes the platform stand out among other live streaming marketing platforms. Moreover, the professional and well-educated live streamers on the platform also lead to its success and popularity among the public.

This paper provides a comprehensive overview of recent research concerning the impact of antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) labeling and stigmatization within different environments. Mixed findings were found in all three environmental settings, revealing that an ASPD diagnosis (or a psychopathy label particularly in forensic settings) could result in either positive or negative outcomes. In social settings: inconsistent public responses to ASPD population were found which might suggest a situational effect in regard to ASPD symptoms, and further studies should be conducted on the subject matter. In addition, media portrayals of the ASPD population mistakenly confused ASPD individuals with psychopaths. It would then be important to study to what extent mass media contributed to ASPD stigmatization, in which fear as one contributing component was discussed. In forensic settings: findings supported the presence of ASPD stigmatization. However, considering the ambiguous boundary between ASPD and psychopath within the judicial system, more studies would be needed to investigate whether two labels triggered different levels of stigma and prejudice so as to ensure fairness and justice. In medical settings: there were mental health professionals advocating for replacing stigmatizing labels with less pejorative terms, yet other practitioners reinforced ASPD labeling and stigmatization through refusing treatment delivery that further led to discrimination and discouragement of the ASPD population. Future studies should focus more on finding better guidelines and modifications for the practical field in order to destigmatize or avoid labeling when treating ASPD populations.

The article summarizes and analyzes some of the previous studies on schizotypal personality disorder to explain the etiology, genetic aspect such as Catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT which is situated on chromosome 22q11) and calcium voltage-gated channel subunit alpha1 C (CACNA1C rs1006737); environmental aspect such as risky factors affecting an unnormal brain development like and psychological trauma, and chronic stress, and the treatment (Metacognitive treatment; Rumination‑Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy; Medication treatment) of schizotypal personality disorder are also discussed. Both methods, Metacognitive treatment, and Rumination‑Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in their respective cases, improved symptoms in schizotypal personality disorder patients. However, although research on medication treatment shows that although some medicines, like Risperidone and Haloperidol, can also improve schizotypal personality disorder symptoms, they are also accompanied by the side effects. Moreover, the analysis shows that the present research on managing schizotypal personality disorder encounters issues such as insufficient sample size and absence of repeated experiments. These results of prior studies still need further verification before they can be used in practice.

Bipolar disorder is a psychological illness that is directly associated to suicide and is marked by episodes of manic or hypomanic periods and depressed. Suicidal conduct in people with bipolar illness has a highly complicated pathophysiological basis and closely related to psychosocial factors, genes, environment, etc. This article examines the influencing factors of physiology and psychology and the common psychotherapeutic approaches used to treat bipolar disorder, comprising psycho-educational interventions, interpersonal and social rhythm therapy, and family therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. The present urges people with bipolar disorder require psychosocial counseling in addition to pharmacological therapy. Several bipolar illness therapies have both advantages and disadvantages, which are currently debatable, and it is challenging to come to reliable conclusions from pertinent research. There is still a need for further future evidence-based medical research to support drug and psychotherapy treatments for bipolar disorder. Large sample studies in natural scenarios may be one of the future research directions.

Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PPD) refers to a range of symptoms which are related to the menstrual cycle, which is not only accompanied by severe physical symptoms, but often by severe emotional symptoms as well. This can have a serious impact not only on the patient's daily life, but also on the social costs. To date, however, the etiology of this disorder is not well understood and there are not very accurate, objective diagnostic methods or universally applicable special treatment options. This article aims to summaries some of the research literature relating to the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of PPD, over the last approximately 15 years, with a view to providing some insight into future research on PDD. The etiology of PDD may be related to 5-HT, GABAergic dysregulation and abnormal response of GABAA receptors to allopregnanolone. PDD’s diagnosis relies primarily on a number of scale assessments and information from medical history and physical examination. Common first and second line treatment options are antidepressants and oral contraceptives (OCs) respectively. Symptoms of PDD can also be reduced with some psychosocial treatment.

This paper first summarizes the definition of antisocial personality disorder (APD), and then explains the influence of antisocial personality on the patients themselves and the society as well as the etiological diagnosis and treatment methods. Finally, some suggestions for future research and intervention are given. The etiology and influence of antisocial personality disorder are first introduced. The present study found that various factors such as childhood experiences and structural brain abnormalities, could contribute to symptoms of antisocial personality disorder (APD). Secondly, the diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder is introduced, which is based on the common scale test and the patient's actual symptoms and life experiences. Then it introduces the common treatment methods of antisocial personality disorder from the perspective of neurology and psychology. Finally, some suggestions are put forward to provide directions for future research. To sum up, through a systematic review of the previous literatures and analyzing, this paper aims to increase the understanding of APD and provide evidence-based recommendations for optimizing the treatment and intervention of APD.
